Please join us at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center for our October Ag meeting/luncheon on Friday, October 4, 2024, at 11:30 am.  This meeting will be catered by Levy’s Expo Center’s in-house catering service.   The meeting will be held in the Saddle and Sirloin Room 2nd floor of Freedom Hall. The cost of the luncheon will be $10.00.  Parking will be free for this event.  A map is attached so you can see where to park close to Freedom Hall.

We would like to acknowledge the generosity of Mr. David Beck and Corinne Fetter for covering the cost of our lunches.  The pricing quote we received was much higher than we expected. Mr. Beck and Corinne stepped in to offer help with the cost.  We will all still give $10.00 but it will go directly into the Scholarship Fund.

Mike Mangeot serves as the Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Tourism, overseeing marketing & development of the state as a travel destination.  This is his second tenure as Commissioner after previously leading the state to record levels of visitation and economic impact.

Mike brings extensive tourism and economic development experience to the position.  Besides being Commissioner, Mike has served as President & CEO of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development and was the Executive Director of the Bardstown Nelson County Tourism Commission where his marketing efforts were recognized by the US Travel Association with a Destiny Award.

Mike is currently serving as Chair for Travel South USA, current Vice-Chair of the National Council of State Travel Directors and is also a member of the board of directors for the US Travel Association Southeast Tourism Society, and Kentucky travel Industry Association.
