Our speaker is Jamie C. Matthews, Ph.d., Associate Dean for Research, Director of the Kentucky Agricultural Experiment Station, and Professor of Animal and Food Sciences in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, University of Kentucky.  He is responsible for the college’s research strategy and infrastructure. This includes oversight of multiple research farm facilities located throughout the state and administration of over $45 million annually in grants and contracts.
